Phoenix Suns rookie Khaman Maluach tallied another double-double in the G League on Saturday, leading the Valley Suns to a road win over the Texas Legends.
Maluach finished with 24 points, 17 rebounds, two blocked shots, one assist and one steal in the 112-105 victory at the Comerica Center. He shot 12-of-23 from the field in 33 minutes, 45 seconds as the Suns improved 9-16 in the regular season.
The 10th overall pick found success cleaning the offensive glass, hauling in a career-high eight rebounds on that end of the court alone. He also performed well in the paint, converting several finishes with his touch and physicality at the rim.

Maluach has played sporadically for coach Jordan Ott and the Suns this season, averaging 1.8 points and 1.6 rebounds across 26 appearances. He has been behind the likes of Mark Williams and Oso Ighodaro in the rotation, leaving him out of the mix.
The 7-footer has made 11 appearances in the G League, averaging 16.5 points, 12.8 rebounds, 2.5 blocks and 1.2 assists while shooting 52.6% shooting from the field. He has registered eight double-doubles, including a 22-point, 21-rebound effort on Dec. 11.
Maluach was highly touted out of Duke because of his size, defensive potential and ability to work down low. Though he has spent the year mostly in a developmental role, the organization has been pleased with his work ethic and daily progress on and off the court.
