Mobile World Congress 2026 has arrived, and Mashable is in Barcelona to bring you the latest from one of the biggest tech shows on the planet.

Following on the heels of CES and Samsung Galaxy Unpacked, this year's MWC runs March 2-5 and will share with you big reveals from Honor, Xiaomi, Nothing, and more. Mashable's Stan Schroeder is bringing you the best and most interesting news from the show floor.

Honor's V6 foldable is not afraid of water

Honor unveiled a full range of new devices at MWC 2026. Among those is the Honor Magic V6 foldable phone, which is thinner than the Samsung's Galaxy Z Fold 7 and has already been touted for its toughness in a video showing it used as a zipline link. Now, its durability is being proven in a live demo at MWC as phone fans can see the device displayed from the bottom of a water tank.

Xiaomi has unveiled a car that's wild even by its own standards. The Xiaomi Vision Gran Turismo is a vehicle engineered to exercise unprecedented control over the air flow running across the vehicle as it roars down the road.

Described as being "sculpted by the wind," Xiaomi said air flows through the car using a variety of wind tunnels and channels to make it more efficient.

We expect to get a better look at the car and learn more about its specs when the company brings its hypercar to the MWC show floor in Barcelona on March 2. But until then, this car looks incredibly strange and exceptionally fast.
